About the Project
Standing With You empowers women facing unexpected pregnancies by providing resources and connecting them with supportive peers who understand their experiences and encourage them to embrace both their child and their aspirations. They reached out to us to strengthen their online presence through a women-first platform that would serve as a centralized hub of pregnancy resources for women across the country, as well as to design merchandise that supports awareness of their mission.
Designing Standing With You’s Website Experience for Maximum Impact
When approaching the design of the Standing With You website, it was important to reflect and humanize the female experience. Many women arrive at the site during stressful or uncertain moments, which is why the design pairs clear navigation and direct language with a feminine, welcoming aesthetic that feels approachable rather than overwhelming. The site is fully responsive and functions seamlessly across devices, recognizing that support is often sought on the go.
Building a National Pregnancy Resource Directory
But, our focus wasn’t only design. Standing With You serves women facing a wide range of challenges, making it essential to create a resource hub that addresses this broad spectrum of needs. This led to the development of the National Resources Directory, a searchable database that connects women to counseling, food assistance, health services, and educational or financial opportunities. The directory allows the Standing With You team to add, edit, and update listings without the need for technical expertise, while ensuring information stays relevant for women searching for resources.
Merchandise Design to Support Awareness and Community Engagement
In addition to the digital work, Standing With You partnered with us on a Valentine-themed merchandise initiative aimed at encouraging and supporting their community of advocates. We designed a wide assortment of items from tumblers, t-shirts, beanies, totes, and tapestries to custom packaging to bolster their brand and reach.
